Our Founder
SOI Essence was born from my personal journey toward holistic health and a desire to create meaningful change. My passion for herbal medicine stems from a lifetime of witnessing the impact of cardiovascular disease on my family. I still remember a conversation with my uncle when he said, "Lola, just face it, hypertension is our family disease." I laughed it off but silently vowed I wouldn’t let cardiovascular disease define my life.
In 2020, after leaving an intense real estate career, life threw me a curveball—I developed a severe skin allergy no dermatologist could resolve. Around the same time, my husband was diagnosed with hypertension and advised to start medication immediately. Determined to find a better way, I turned to my Nigerian roots and discovered the power of plants through a holistic doctor.
As I studied and embraced lifestyle changes, both my husband and I began to heal. The herbs I discovered helped not only us but also friends and family, improving their blood pressure, blood sugar, and overall energy.
